Glen Alpine Falls is located in the northeast corner of Lake Tahoe and flows into the lake. The falls are surrounded by forested slopes and deep glacial valleys. The Glen Alpine Creek Trail leads from the parking lot to the falls, with a total distance of 1.5 miles. There is also a small viewing platform near the falls. The falls can be viewed from both the ground and from a lookout tower that is accessible by a short hike or by a shuttle that travels between the parking lot and the tower.
